Most of you probley got some top alarm system fitted to your Beemers? My insurance company say I need a Thatcham approved alarm blah blah blah before they will insure me on a 325 Motorsport. Which I dont mind cos I wanna make sure my ride dont get robbed innit?
Just wondering if the people that fit them - and I know there are loads of official dealers around - are to be trusted? Like they wont mess-up the interior when trying to fit the trim back etc! Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Midlands ?
Cheers

I had to have a thatcham approved immobiliser on my car. I asked the insurance company to supply me with a localish companys phone number they recommended.
If they recommend and a F%&K up happens you can have a little come back + you also know what they fit is good enough for what the insurance company wants.

Cheers beeem. Have they used them on your current Beemer? All fit and finish top-notch? Though different areas would mean different fitters anyway.

I used them last month on my 325i Sport. They are based in B'ham and travel the UK to your home or office. They do London on any day except Fridays
The alarm has a 5 year warranty (or lifetime - I can't remember) and a shorter warranty period for the key fobs. The guy that did mine twice was good and did a good job. No problems. For the money, it's pretty good value but I still use a CAT. 3 steering lock, McGard wheel locks and I dead lock all the time.
Not sure where you are and who they will send, I guess it depends on thier scheduling. They are VSIB approved so that is good. If you find someone cheaper call them up and I am sure they will match the price.

1 word of advice, if you have a eye catching car dont use a local alarm fitter, coz they are the ones who normally get your car jacked. Seriuosly follw your instinct if you feel that they look dodgy or sound dodgy dont use them. Use a company few miles away from you.
gudluck.
