... I assume this is because of the Eccentric Lollypop bushes????
Noticed it when i put full lock on to refit mud flap
Can you put m3 Liners in to stop them doing this on full lock??????

I don't like the look of that Alex, have you put the bushes in the right way round?

mine did this when the front valence was nudged back 10mm or so. moving the strut in the way the M3 bushes do does move the wheel forward so i guess it's inevitible
they're bloody close as standard

My (assuming standard) front suspension has less than a fingers width between the tyre and arch liner at full lock, Was kind of hoping that M3 bushes would cure it! the 15"s look pretty wide compared with the 14"s... Mine is lowered 40mm on Eibachs though?

Alex,
putting M3 parts on the 4 pot turd won't make it a 'Baby M3'
I am no suspension expert ,but i think something is not right there

its perfectly normal when you have M3 bushes fitted as thats exactly what they do, ie move the wheel forward increasing the castor angle.
M3 arch liners will not fit as you dont have the flared arches and the arch is slightly further forward on the M3 wing to allow for this in the first place.
I have them on mine and have thought of warming up my liners with a hot air gun to manipulate them to give a little more room, you can also move the main engine tray further forward slightly which in turn brings these forward too.
No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.

If insurance wasnt a problem it would have an m50 or 52 sat in it

That looks a bit funny Alex. I've recently fitted eccentrics to my touring, so I'll have to have a butchers in the daylight.
She is rubbing at the front under full lock so I guess that the gap will look the same as yours..

moving the Engine tray forward sounds like the best option, will have a look one night this week and see what can be done
Thanks

real 205.50's at that, those tires look shocking. I'm sure the insurance company wound't mind if you snook an m52 under the big panel

Mine scuff a little with the eccentric bushes fitted, minor price to pay for the vast improvement in 'feel' to the steering.
