hello people. I am new to the ownership of bmw's. Its my first non ford car so far, ive had a couple of rs turbo's and a mk2 escort. Ive got a pretty tidy 316i lux in white. The car was a bargin as i swapped it for an alloy wheel off my rs turbo and Ԛ£50. Its not a pile of poo as you would think for that price though. It has been lowerd and has m3 bumpers on it. but the only other mod i am going to do is a m3 spoiler, some nice bbs wheels and maybe some dtm mirrors.

cheers chris

My mk2 was a 1300 rs2000 replica to start with but while i was at collage i used it as a project and built a rally car out of it. Cage, stitch welded, forest arches, flat front and a half built 1740cc crossflow among other things. I never had time to finish it, but made a tidy profit of selling it. Also at the time it got me a job building classic/historic rally cars. Im still a huge fan of fords but ive always wanted a E30 bmw aswell, so i still have a series 2 escort rs turbo, but i wont be driving that again. So until i can aford either a cossie or a nice E30 325 i will be keeping the 316.

It sure would be, ive got to get used to driving a rear wheel drive car first before i go for a bigger power car though. I think i need to try and squeeze some more power out of this if i can for now.
