Hey everyone,

Just posting as ive made some major progress this weekend on the tuned up 316. Got the engine and box out ready for the new lump to be put in one night in the week. Feels great to be in full swing with this project again!

This was a good sight when i got in from work!

Doesnt it feel real good to get back on the long term project? I know feeling so well, mines actually sprayed in three weeks!!!!!

oh the engine looks so small compared to a mighty 6 pot lump! There actually looks room to work on the engine!

Yeah it feels really good, its been going for about a year now :cool:

Good things come in small packages, theres loads of room for working in the engine bay. also means loads of room for forced induction fun!

Its a 2.0L m10 with huge twin carbs, wild cam and afew other trick bits.

It should be a pretty nice drive, maybe not as fast as a 3.5 tho lol

Them blocks were just a failsafe thing the car was fully supported on some massive axel stands at the jacking points. Is it givin you any ideas for yours yet mate winkeye

no mate mines off to a mechanic next week and after he's sorted it it gonna be up for sale mate i think im gonna get a 18 next work my way up

lol yeah true about scott although im sure he'll be well distracted over where he is. I might be able to make gaydon then :cool: should be nearing the end of running it in by then if its not been done already. Cheers for the heads up!
