148k is only thing putting me off.
says the leather is mint. no tappety noise from engine, and no rust at all.
sounds to good for the money
anyone live in highwycome? as usually bit of a way from cornwall lol!

148k for a G plate is average mileage really. Less than 10k a year.
And providing its been well maintained, 148k is nothing to worry about.
I tend not to bother about mileage when buying older cars, as long as its in good condition and has some sort of history to back up the mileage.
Its swings and roundabouts though, my car was low mileage when I bought it - had done about 10k in 7 years and not surprisingly, I had loads of little problems when I started using it daily.
I would suggest taking the reg number to your local BM dealer just to make sure its a genuine sport. Just say you are looking to buy a 325i Sport and you want to check its real. They will charge you Ԛ£5-10, but can tell you what spec it left the factory with, what colour etc etc. Im not saying its not genuine, but it would save a wasted trip.

I hope it is 100% mint.
The only time I've ever seen someone actually pleased to see a car in the flesh after seeing it's description is the guys who came to pick up my sport.
It looked so much better than the eBay add showed, I think they were pretty suprised.
Ever car I've ever been to see, which is getting on for about 100 (for me and mates) has never been as good as the advert describes.
This always always always happens!
Hopefully this one could be a change from the norm.
About 1 in 10000 E30s are 100% rust free. If that!

Yeah, I know how you feel.frosted wrote:just pisses me off every car which matches my needs is so damn far away lol!
I had the same problem when looking for mine.
How long is it before a car with only 100k needs repairs?? Dont forget its an old car now - 15 years old. I know its not a BM, but my mums old 1994 car had the headgasket go at 92k, Im driving it now and its on 104k and losing water again from somewhere
I reckon its worth a trip to have a look, if the guy says its that good. And if the head does go, it will be worth a rebuild.

The fact it is from high wycombe and sitting on 17" BKs doesn't bode well for its provenance !

Hi mate. I live in High Wycombe and would be happy to look at this car if I can. Send me a copy of the advert to swingfield@btconnect.com. I have a fully restored 325i Sport auto so I can compare.
