Had the touring MoT'd today....

Failed on.....

1) Blowing exhaust manifold (Knew about this)
2) Both bottom balljoints :(
3) Exhaust rubber broken
4) Gearbox to exhaust mount bracket broken
5) Headlights loose (Fixed using newish ones from other touring)
6) N/S/F Indicator not flashing (fixed!)
7) Rear discs and pads (advisory)

Think that's it, but I'm sure there was something else!

So nothing major but still a few jobs to do.

Plus there is an oil leak from the breather under the inlet manifold. I took the inlet manifold off tonight, what an ass that is! Will be replacing 'o' rings and gaskets all over the place, and cleaning up the inlet manifold and going for the wrinkle paint on the rocker cover while I'm there.

Should be sorted pretty soon!

I get 20% off at BMW normally cos you get trade working in another garage, but I know a lad (sup Reedy!) who works at BMW in Cambridge and he said he'll sort me out!

Shouldn't cost too much!

Oh just remembered, there was a corroded brake pipe too.

Just normal copper which is piss cheap. Only a short piece anyway.

Nothing structural which is the main thing. Sound underneath thank god.

I collected three tokens from my Rice Crispies packets, and send a Ԛ£2.99 postal order and they sent me my licence.
