good to see the e30 getting some appreciation! Some of the responses are a bit daft though - one guy thinks £995 is expensive for a 20 year old car with 185k miles - little does he know....

Good article.

That looks like it only needs a little work to be nice.

whats wrong with a manual conversion? Tech 2 bodykits and auto gearboxes don't really go if you ask me. Like auto sports, WTF was that all about

haha well my yuppie red with 104 on the clock was a bargain I think for 800 notes. Interior is mint (edit I do mean mint) but only cloth comfort, exterior has had n/s wing replaced by me with a tail gate waiting to go on once I work out what to do with the glass and seals.

Unbelievably - eyes had glazed over by this point - I missed rear n/s arch and have one being cut out to replace - @rse. And the front valence is cr@p round the edges.

But the drive train is perfect, used less than half a litre oil in 2500 miles - no top up yet. Some new toyo proxes on original minter 15 BBS set it off nice

... And I love slamming into the limmiter overtaking in 3rd and giving them a wap-wap-wap before slotting 4th, hunkering down and holding on to the end of err that particular private road 8)

Its a fncking great car, considering I could have had a clio 172 for £2k, I've no regrets spending up to £1200 bringing this one up to full super shiny condition haha

Must ... fight ... urge ... to ... look for leather sports seats and LSDs and sort the bodywork first
