I have just parted company with my 318is. I had to sell the car as I'm going travelling for 6 months at the beginning of September so needs must and all that...

Only listed it for sale on Sunday evening so am happy that it sold reasonably quickly :D

All cash in the bank for my travels winkeye

I will hopefully be back in an E30 of some description when I get back in March 8)

I've never been anywhere like that so I'm completely clueless as to what to expect but am definitely looking forward to it!

If needs must, so be it, ay!

My mates are returning a week on saturday from going to Thailand for 3 and a bit weeks (with a couple of days in cambodia), 4 weeks of going down the east coast of aussieland, a week in Hawaii and a month in America (missouri, Las Vegas, New York, Califonia etc). They had an amazing time... and was worth the ridiculous savings...

Good luck and hopefully you'll rejoin us with a 2.5?

Dunno about that mate, I'm thinking of something 4 wheel drive and turbo'd! Might get an E30 for a hobby.

Audi S4 2.7 V6 Bi-turbo has my attention at the moment! Seem to be able to pick up a half decent one around a 2000 reg for about £5-6k.

I want to do something like that one day, but landed myself in a career pretty much straight after college....

I doubt I could ever do that now without leaving my job....:?

I could always do those places once year if I saved. I think I will be saving for a thailand adventure next year or the year after!

I figured if I don't do it now while I'm renting and child-free I'll never do it! Have had to quit my job but have been offered something to come back to in March next yr...

Cheers.

Gaiters went with it, Toby! They looked great in there and I have no use for them now so left them where they were...! 8)

No idea if the guy was a Zoner - he said he had another E30 in the same colour though.
