Honestly there'll be no repairing her, if the insurance company dont want much to buy it back then I might consider breaking but otherwise it's a cube.

Seriously for that little bit of damage your willing to see a (what looks like) clean 2 door shell go to the crusher!

How can no one find the time to simply replace a bonnet, , bumper, wing & few bits of trim!

Out of interest what model is it?

Whatever you do dont buy an E36 Compact! They are the gayest car ever! A saloon or coupe would be fine!

I would suggest that you buy the car off the insurance and flog it here on the zone. I'm sure you would have it sold in no time and you would have a clear conscience for saving an E30 from death.

-1 Compacts are good cars. not gay. Most E36 coupes and saloons are battered to an inch of their life, the only E36s I see that are looked after are the tourings and compacts, with the odd mint coupe.

All i'm after is a little extra fuel economy and a bit more poke. Which wont be difficuly to achieve coming from a 320i. Gotta have a tow bar for the bike rack aswell, which was one the only reasons I bought this e30 in the first place.

That's very little damage really.

Once the bumper, wing and bonnet are off it will look alot better.
Small bit of beating at the front panel then and bolt on the new sterling silver panels and it'll be minty again.

4 hours work as said :D

Don't give up on it! If you really can't fix it, give it to a zoner who will :)

the insurance will write it off, and they'll most likely rate the salvage at Nil and you'll be free to keep the car. They won't want to take it away it would cost them money

Whats your location to help vultures?!

You do realise that it'd take less time to fix it, than to look for a new car..

There is about 2hrs work there

I'd rather see it go to someone who'll show it some love. It's just not practical for me anymore.
