I used to live next to the BMW HQ & factory in Munich, and regularly used to see some "strange" BM's knocking about. It was from November 1993 to mid-1995, and boy do I wish I'd had a camera - the funny thing is, when you see so many black BM's with the gaffa tape swinging off them, you didn't notice them after a while.

Anyhow, here goes...

E30 Touring with 5 stud wheels
E36 Compact 5 door
E39 5 series saloon (this was in mid-1994, completely undisguised too)

What a place to live - all that on my doorstep. No-one pays a blind bit of notice to those cars driving about - I'm sure if you went there now & had a walk around the streets on the perimeter of the factory, you would invariably see something different driving around too.

Ive read about that in car mags, stuff like the ///M7 with the E39 V8 in it and the Pickup truck back E30 M3 all hidden away in BMWs priv collection.
