new a few bits for the E30, front wishbone, ball joint, tie rod arms(?) and a few bushes, wheres the best place to get em from?
Are all pattern parts of the same quality?
glen
Also, its a cab, was a 316 originally but had a 325 lump dropped in and it seems a bit bouncy. Should i replace the shox as well? and are they whole units or just inserts?

theres usualy a couple of options price/quality wise i think but may sound crazy but check dealer price first some people have found certain parts to be quite cheap hth Daz

6 cylinder cars have different settings for front shocks and springs. Don't know if you have to change front hubs as well to fit them. Are your front discs vented? They should be for a 6 cylinder.

cheers guys
I'll check the discs in the week as she's locked up at the mo (awaiting above ball joint and wishbone :( )

The springs are bright red so guess they're uprated ones, but until the ball joints been sorted I cant really say if its excessive bounce..

When you say legs and inserts, I'm an ex Ford boy so only worked on shox as complete units, but would a new set of uprated shox include both/everything needed?

cheers
