Seen a load of strut braces from all different companys but wondering what one to go for... single tubes, double tubes and even flat bars.

Anyone want to share theirs are welcome!

Front and back braces!

Thanks rav, I'm sure from the colour of that scuttle panel that that is your beast?

What strut brace is that? What do you think of it?

Strut brace is a good one, make, no idea, took it of a euro left hooker e30 from a scrappy yrs ago.
But you can adjust the width of it by either loosening or tightening the large centre nut.

I noticed that and was a bit interested in what it did.

Seems good. Do strut braces have a noticable difference, I've heard many yes's and many no's...

I have noticed abit of tightness at the front, rather than turning in and waiting, turn in means turn in

Anybody know who makes this strut brace? I have the E32 coolant header tank in mine like this, and all other braces seem to want to be exactly where that header tank sits.

I've seen one before, from an American site, if I find it I'll post it up here. Not sure if it sits quite the same but worth a shot!

Just a little bump in case anyone knows who makes this strut brace? Would be great if so, as this is the only one that I have seen that will fit in my M30'd car running the coolant tank as in the picture above.

Martin.

Why don't you change to a early style tank and move it.

Perfect, thanks Alex. I shall have a search and see if anyone in the UK stocks Racing Dynamics stuff.

I figure there is a good reason why BMW fitted it there on the E32 donor. The cooling system really struggles anyway, and I am wary of introducing possible air traps by having the header tank lower than it is now.
