read on a few posts comments about replica Alpinas being wobbly, is this true?
Just bought a 325i cab with 17's on and think the balancing needs doing but now im thinking might it be this common problem?
cheers

57.1 inners can still be very slightly loose, but 57 are normally to tight.. little cowboy trick I did that worked..... with 57.1s, I wrapped insulating tape neatly one or two times around the hub bore lip, to hold the spigots on there tight... and don't laugh.... it worked!!!! straight away they were as smooth as they should be!!!

the plastic spigot rings are the problem they crush andwarp etc

better off with proper metal ones that O.Z use and ronal and compomotiv

thing is you cant get metal spigots for bk alloys ive tried everywhere looking

yeah, anyone know where I can get decent off the shelf alloy spigott rings? Had a 4 hour drive back from Ipswich today and the wheel shake does my tits in.

The journey was made better by spotting a mint E reg Tech 1 sport on the A14 and then chatting with the owner across the lanes whilst we were stuck in a jam. Told him about the zone too :)

Then on the A1 past Ferrybridge I came across a ferrari 355, pulled up alongside him at about 50, he had his window down and i stuck it back in 2nd and gave it a quick squirt past him. A while later I saw him coming up my right hand side so put my window down and he didn't disappoint, giving it full beans past me. We played around like this for about 10 miles just blatting past and then pulling back in, it was thumbs up in both cars. The fezza sounded absolutely awesome, especially the blips on downchanges and then turning into something almost F1 in sound. AWESOME

Glad to have been of service.

I had aluminium ones on my 318i with OZ alloys and the car handled fine.

I ordered some new spigott rings from John, nice bloke, credit card job over the phone and they arrived a day later. Gonna fit them over the weekend and see how they do. they are plastic ones again but John said the problem with the green rings that are fitted on my car and that come with the BK alloys is that they are too deep so the wheel does not offer up flush to the hub.

Will give a report on them whem I get them fitted and go for a quick blast
