AIR FLOW METER CRISIS!!

i have an 89 325i sport needing a new air flow meter. the problem being getting one. BMW, Otto and another motor factors are all giving me this story -

Bosch factory reconditioned units were available for Ãƒ”šÃ¢”š¬350+vat, they are out of stock in the german factory and will be indefinately unavailable. new units are available Ãƒ”šÃ¢”š¬800+vat!

this effectively leaves me in a very difficult situation, pay Ãƒ”šÃ¢”š¬1000 for one (ridiculous) or sell the car.

Does anyone know any better about this situation in bosch or know of any company who reconditions them?? Please help, as i really don't want to sell her

Check the for sale threads, bound to be a second hand one in there cheap

i've had several 2nd hand ones, they were both fucked. waste of time and money going down that route

for 1k you could get MAF and unichip and shrick cam

or Emerald and Shrick
