I would like to convert to 5 stud hubs, is this simple to do without going for M3 parts. Been told E36 hubs fit but not sure info is correct.

try doing a search, it's been covered a lot of times!

you can use e36 bits, but you'll need the complete hubcarrier, hub / bearing , strut, disks, callipers etc at the front as well as offset bushes and topmounts to try and get the geometry to somewhere near where it should be, and will probably mean needing to use high offset e36 wheels. at the rear you can use 318ti compact complete rear arms.
cheers,

I'v got a set of 5 stud 18" and 19" alloys, also looking at fitting M3 style wide bodykit. Thought if it was an easy thing to do i could use wheels i got, might look and see what big and wide 4 stud wheels are available.

Cheers

For some reason any time anyone asks this particular question most people say to do a search. I've never actually seen one of these threads pan out.

But I can't find anything on the topic easily using the search function. Maybe it's just "finger trouble" on my part, but either way it'd be nice to have the info posted in a thread every now and then so as when using the search function you don't just find 4,000,000 threads with this subject heading in which there's two or three responses saying to use the sodding search function!!! :D
Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.

Yeah, i found that one too when I was asking the other day. Forum search facilities are poor, but then again, the same on all forums!

the search facility is good if you know how to use it.

you have to think a little before you put your search terms in. putting "5" and "stud" in is going to get you every thread with the number 5 in it and everything with stud too.....i just checked and its 1300 threads. putting "stud and conversion" in will get you are far more manageable 250 threads and the first page had at least 15 titles with 5 stud conversion or similar in them.

i find always using "and" in between you terms helps.

having said all that i still cant find some stuff im looking for. :D
