hi, i was just wondering if anyone has team dynamics pro race alloys in black on an e30?

Do you think that they would look good on a red touring or should i just stick with the 14"bbs?

You can get Team Dynamic alloys with a red stripe that I think would look good on a red touring.

No, they are a load of tat.. Pro Race are a decent wheel, more suited to the e36, but functional on an e30

Can sort of see the appeal of the Black with Red stipe wheel, but just a touch to modern
for an E30 imho.

Pro race wheels are proper lightweight track spec rimmage Barry. I know they are not OE so you are programmed to hate them but they are nice wheels

The Pro Race range is meticulously manufactured to minimise weight and is then heat treated to maximise strength to meet the demanding needs of race teams throughout the world
It is now available as a fast road/track wheel for almost every vehicle

i saw them at demon tweeks and thought that they might look cool, but i think they are about 100 quid an alloy, so i need to see them on first.

it was just an idea as i like the spoke design and think black alloys look ace, but i dont want it to look chavvy.

just a bit different from the bbs.

I was not aware that team dynamics did propper wheels.

Whenever team dynamics are mentions i instantly conjour up thoughs of those gash white/gold/anthricite twin six spokes alloys that came with stickers of red writing.

Used to be attached to countless nova/fiesta/205/clio turds in Revs/max power/fast car in the late 90's.

Hey i do like some non OE wheels.

Compomotive MO's, various BBS, Borbet B's.

I seem to remember some Pro Dynamics being all white with a red anodised center cap, they looked crap.

We've got Pro Race 1.2's on our trackday E36. They're pretty much the cheapest lightweight rims you can get although you do see them on a lot of Nova's, Corsa's etc. Their spoke design is good for big brake kits.

Image

Most of the Kumho boys seem to use the original Pro Race or Pro Race 1.2's

Loads of pics here - http://www.bmwrdc.com/

But with theses equally horrid caps!

There the ones. There were also some that just had a plain anodised red center cap. They were the worst.

Those "3's" are quite nice. Better than the originals judging by this pic. They don't look too hot here but maybe it's the stance and wheel size.
