If there were 3 LSDs in good condition and inspected/refurbished what would a reasonable selling price be? Would a 3.7 ratio be worth as much as a 4.1 ratio?

3.9 and 3.7 are good for the 2.5, the 4.1 suits the 318is
as for value i doubt there would be much difference, perhaps the 3.7 would be worth the least as its not ideal for the 2.5 and really more suited to the M50 conversion so as not many of those about (compared to 2.5 and 1.8 ) they could be in less demand.

I've just sold a 4.1:1 LSD for £350. It was a minter with no noises and looked as new inside.

4.1 diffs are rarer & hence worth more.
3.73 are less common than 3.91 and a nicer ratio for a 325i (between the 3.64 & 3.91 more commonly fitted) but they don't seem to go for any more money at the moment - although they did a few years ago.

I'm thinking about fitting an LSD to my 325 - it's an auto though, any issues with that that I need to be aware of before buying?
I am planning to convert the car to manual - should I wait until I have done that first?
cheers
