I don't know about improving your MPG; I would have thought that the imroved performance a chip gives would come at the price of increased consumption, but I do know the difference in performance was noticable immediately when I chipped my 318iS.

i just chipped my 325i and it doesnt use any more fuel at all and i def noticed the difference... i got mine of ebay. i think they say it may save fuel because maybe with a new chip it doesnt apply to certin emision rules that it may have when the original chip was installed (thats what ive herd anyway)

Do the zone still sell a chip for the 320i cabrio, M20 engine? If so what are they like and how much?
How much are the Viper 1 and Viper 2 chips and what is the difference?
Can they be used for the M20?
Cheers
