Best UK Touring
Moderator: martauto
Does anyone now who owns or has pics of a mint Touring?, looking for the best out there.
I would like to improve mine to as near mint as possible and would be good to have a bench mark to work towards.
There are many great examples of two/more doors and cabbie's on here but it would be good to have a Touring that looks as good as some of these.

simon13's lovely example gets my vote
Would just like to see an example of an unmolested factory fresh Touring or one with a tasteful mod. Deff nothing council. Original examples seem to be getting thin on the ground.
Maybe that's just it, they just aren't out there.
Valver's & Cotty's Hartge look pretty close though.
I was trying to get a bench mark to aim for and maybe these two are it.

G, your touring is right on the money. Bullet straight/standard and the same colour counts for alot now
The alpina touring shall be getting raised after a good f**king hiding around the ring end of May. I've had to take the front spoiler off as its scraping everywhere and i'm not damaging it any more!
40mm is the way to go!

Cheers for the vote of confidence, mine is ok but I think it needs a lot to bring it right up to mix it with some of the metal on here.Simon13 wrote:G, your touring is right on the money. Bullet straight/standard and the same colour counts for alot now

Want to fit leather interior, comfort or sport and a Tech II wheel. Apart from that just renew everything that needs it over time, give the engine a good going over and finaly a full respray.
Not sure about the slaming it though.
Look after that spoiler Simon or I might have to take the pina of your hands and keep it safe!

G. My advice would be to not rush into things. Your car is (as si states) very straight and very clean.
Leather and Mtech 11 wheel can only improve it IMO. Maybe sport rideheight would also be worth considering BUT NO COUNCIL DROPS AIIIYYYT?
