hi, i read on the e30network website that changing the diff on the 325i for the m3 diff with the ratio of 4.10 will make the 325i accelerate better and and faster than the m3. has any1 done did conversion. and what are the pros and cons to this mod. e.g. is it drivable on a daily basis.

You could change to a 4.1 diff, it would make the acceleration a bit better, but not M3 quick.
It would be very buzzy on the motorway.
Good luck finding a 4.1 diff too, they are pretty rare.
As Jhonno says, M3's came with 3.25 or 3.15 diffs I thought.

I'm heard the American M3's came with 4.10, but what such a huuuuge difference in diffs?! Especially for the fact that 4.10 gives you loads of revs and high speeds and American roads are all long main roads..

Us M3's do not have the dog leg gear box and a 4.10 diff. Because of the different gearbox ratio's a 4.10 is needed instead 3.25 like the EURO M3.
