You need to swap a couple bit's. (all easy) and best to have the engines side by side.
Bracket and sensor for the front pully as the gearbox one's will be redundent.
water way at the front with the cover's. and use the later injector rail on the early manifold.
You will be happy with the result fella.

I had lots of trouble getting the conversion to spark, turned out to be that the older engine used a different system to locate TDC top dead center. The older one used a small hole on the surface of the disk, the new one uses 'missing tooth' which is a couple of the disks teeth missing on the edge of the disk.
Much easier to do with the engine out!!!

Thanks guys for all the info.
I will be getting it fitted by a mechanic but wanted to get all the bits I need before hand as I dont want any dramas. What actually makes the early engine higher compression...is it the head or is there a difference in the block or both.
Thanks
