There has been a few threads about chips but what is the best allround chip available for a e30 325i?

Is it Powerchip, dinan, Jim Conforti, markD, zone or other

Cheers :)

Everyone has there own opinions on this, I run a Zone 1 chip and am very happy, others run Viper2's etc......you'll get pro's and cons for both.
I doubt wether the US chips work aswell over here as we have a higher ron fuel and there engines were normally detuned compared to ours.

For the money the Zone chip is very good value and you'll be supporting the ZOne too as all profits go back into the zone :D

One of the zone ones. All these other chips have been extensivly tried in the past by Ant and myself. The zone ones offer alot more for the money.
Obviously a custom map would be best but also expensive.
Send Ant a pm and let him know your mods and he will let you know the best chip to go for.

Just to state I have tried roughly 15 different chips/maps in my car starting with a superchips, all offered better performance over standard.
You can even specify whether or not you want the rev limit raising etc as most performance chips are mapped to rev higher. 8O
