is it worth it

i can get hold of a b reg e30 316 carb, with the m10 lump, for Ԛ£50, runs fine and drives, interior is shagged, has no mot (just failed, not sure why) no tax, just wondering if its worth it, im thinking of getting it just for the engine, and breaking it
what do you think

sell the other good parts I'm sure there will be at least 50 quid of parts on it

if i did get it and put the engine in my 318i m40, could i use the m40 5 speed gearbox, or will they not fit at all?

Don't do it ! . Engine is a boat anchor , gearbox will only fit an m10 . i have thrown away perfect m10 engines and gearboxes . 316 R.I.P.

Erm, for Ԛ£50 it might be worth that in parts mate, lights, panels, glass etc.


Although ive got a nice M40 1.8 for sale.....
