Hi guys,
been thinking really and as much as i love my car i keep thinking of selling her
reason is that there is so many cheap cars out there!! you can pick up a e46 for £3500 and audi tt for £4500, now i know my car aint worth that but i have a few quid saved up aswell.
i carnt even drive yet lol but i keep thinking one of the above cars is going to get more wows from me mates lmao,
Please guys put me back on track
please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Josh

your more likely to insure a 316i at 17 than a TT mate!
If I was you I'd keep it make sure it stays solid then shove an s50 in when the time is right.. or sell it for an //M3 like I did
edit - new cars don't talk to you like e30's they aren't the greatest car in the world but they are so much better on an a road than sat on a motorway or carpark

What cars are your mates realistically likely to own to start off with? And does it really matter what they think?
Although the 46 & the TT both have far safer handling than your E30, the mixture of inexperience and a fast car will have you in trouble and I don't just mean speeding offences. Plus you'll probably pay for the car twice with the insurance quotes you'll get for the above.
You've put a lot of effort into your car, be a shame not to be able to properly appreciate it.

When they see you going sideways on a wet day, then you get a 'Wow'
And fuck your mates.. It's your car.

If you can afford to lose your savings go ahead Josh. Virtually every penny of depreciation has gone already from your car. Buy an Audi TT or an e46 and watch your savings disappear down a big black hole. Then theres insurance. You have half a chance of insuring yours. Audi tt?????
And if your friends don't appreciate the e30 as the classic quality icon it is? Ditch 'em.

Keep it! Your car is gorgeous and you've put a lot of time and effort into it. Not many cars have the character and charm of an E30 IMO.
Not in E30s any more

By time you start driving your E30's would have increased in value.
