I suspect its going to be up for a stupidly high price.

looks good.

no mention on mileage though, but if you can afford to buy it then i think you ain't gonna be bothered about that!

like you say though it'll be up for a silly price as they normally are.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Munich Legends are harvesting the interesting parts before fitting bits of a knackered 320 they have out the back. (probably as they are dodgy as fuck!)

Flicked through PBMW the other day they had a feature (re Advertisement) for these c_u_n_ts! Notice how they glossed over the 100K chain thing or any of the other BShittery they've mugged customers on!

I sincerely hope the Halse family are involved in some kind of tradegy! :x

Good man Rich W ! I myself have also been praying for a spot of bad luck to strike these horrid inbreds, preferrably involving a 747 at 30000 feet. A perfect scenario would have bone0 , sting , chris martin and a few other choice tools on the same flight ! :D

PS Sounds like a job for C2alpina boy ! :D

I heard ml had been taken over by new management, if it's true maybe things have changed or at least will.

They weren't the only ones recommending the 100k chain change, although I believe the owner of the other garage is also selling up.

Anyone else notice the placement of the front lift pads.

Sorry people but I think this sort of talk is way out of line. I have no experience of ML but do not think this is approriate talk. Different people may have had bad experiences but we do not need this on the Zone. It does not help show the Zone in a good light.

Unsubstantiated libel is one thing. Factual experience is quite another. However I do agree the loss of a 747-300 or 400 would be a tragedy.

Well if I read it that way, may other may as well. Behaviour not to be encourage. 'tongue in cheek' is not always well expressed in typed form.

Sit tight rude boy, these chaps have been aggrieved by Munich Loosers, whereas you, have nothing to do with them. No need to get aggrivated by it all. Nowt wrong with calling out tea leaves and gutter trash.

For what has been written to be deemed libellous it would need to be untrue ! :D

Wait till you have a M3 gearbox "rebuilt" in a remarkable short amount of time that weeps oil from the selector seal and wouldn't go into 1st when stone cold.

Then wait till you take it back to that "Specialist" and they replace the seal (which then continues to leak because they've gouged the casing requiring further work/expense elsewhere to rectify) and get told that "ALL Dogleg boxes are hard to get into first when cold"

Then wait till you realise that £1180+Vat is over twice what another specialist (with a better rep) would have wanted for a full rebuild!

In a nutshell, 7 months after I bought the car, I wasn't in the position to remove the gbox and send it away. knew ML would be pricey, but figured they would do a decent job. How wrong was I?!?!

I will not retract my comments and it's not tongue in cheek. I sincerely wish the worst upon them. They are in the same level of dishonesty as peadophiles to me!

And isn't it strange how they were so keen to do Evo mag a deal on a E36 GT. (Project 8 min) Selling it for nearly 50-60% of what they would normally have it up for.

I have no personal dealings with them but they told my friend's Dad to urgently swap the chain on his B9 Alpina (for £2k plus VAT!) on an indicated 106,000 miles as it would surely go imminently. He politely explained that the clocks were replacement and that the car had done over 220,000... they didn't call back

They are asking £36950 for the stock M3 with 12,000 miles on it...

That, right there is it in one pointed paragraph. The Halses are pulling out btw. Consider ML under new management.

True?

Whoever it is, is daft. The damage has already been done. Unless they are planning to take the stock and set up elsewhere under a new name. Oh and NOT keeping anyone that works there as the rot must have set in!

Maybe the were on the brink of folding in this recession anyway they can't be selling too many cars. There is no way in hell a Standard M3 with 12K is worth £37K. I bet they only gave £15-18 tops! A full on ground up dipping etc resto wouldn't cost that for a SportEvo!

Was just idle chat with Nigel today and this is apparently the case. But from an e30 M3 customers viewpoint also discussed today they are now hitting just about every telephone enquiry with sales pitch spiel, so things may be tight... If tight is an appropriate word.

I agree with your latter comment Rich and feel the same way.

Good old Munich Bellends.

I've got a car which was foolishly taken to Munich Legends for regualr 'servicing' and I can see very little evidence of them actually having performed alot of the work they have charged for.

Consider yourself lucky Theo, it could have been worse, they could have 'repaired' the victims chariot as well as robbed him ! :)

Gearbox one? Can't remember off the top of my head. "Uwe" I think has dealt with them. Somewhere in Kent IIRC? (Not Bexleys btw)

Then theres www.gearboxman.co.uk who is very well respected in the modifed Ford Cosworth/RS Turbo scene. Does uprated boxes. And were very helpful when I asked them for independent advice on Getrags. 8)

Mine was imported by them in 97. As you say the amount of money spent on invoices etc is horrendous.
