Might have accidentally bought a Green '91 316i Lux 4-door off Ebay.

Few beers last night and I bid for it. It met it's reserve, so it's sat there with 11 hours to go with my name on it.

If no-one else bids, I'll be stuck with it. It's only an hour away, but has failed it's MOT on headlight (got a spare) front tyre (got a spare 14" BBS with tyre on anyway) and rear brake pipes (not too much trouble I guess).

So, with it being a '91 316i, what engine code is it? M10 or M40 - as you can tell, not really up on my 4 cylinder BMWs...

Anyone want to buy if from me?

Apparently it's had:

Ԛ· New Brake Calipers
Ԛ· New Brake Discs
Ԛ· New Brake Shoes
Ԛ· New Steering Rack
Ԛ· New Camshaft - sounds good to me!
Ԛ· Service including Cam Belt (30/11/04)

It doesn't look too bad to be honest with it being a Lux model. You never know, I might actually like it in the cold light of day... bloody hope so!

Giles.

I know... it was either that or a Mk2 Golf Driver...

Like I said... had a few beers. Grrrrrr! Damn alcohol!

What makes it worse, is that it's a 4 door! In all my 7 E30's, I've never had a 4-door saloon... and better yet, ALL my E30's have had Sport's seats in. Could this be my last E30 due to not having Sport's seats...?

Saw this car on e-bay myself, looks a tidy car, and if you're after a nice E30 to potter about in, it looks a great car for the job.

It will have the noisy M40 engine fitted.

It's okay... panick over. I've been outbid.

Phew!

Never drinking again.

Shame really, coz I was just starting to come around to owning it. Oh well... would have been a bargain for Ԛ£275...

I was gonna have that one! Nothing wrong with a 4-door 316i

Looks very tidy, always fancied a 4-door, price got a little high for me considering the money needed to get it back on the road :(
