Greetings all!

I own a mint E30 318i Tourer on a 'G' plate. I bought the car nearly ten years ago with only 36k on the clock. The car had been owned by an auto-electrician who is a friend. It now has 130k on the clock & is still in fabulous condition. However, I have noticed that the suspension dampers are due for replacement, the car feels a tad mushy in the corners. It makes sense to replace the springs also I believe.

Can I fit the dampers & springs from the 318is as a direct replacement for the current set up? If so, is it a straight swop, or are there any issues/mods that will be necessary?

Advice please guys!

Many thanks,

PD :D

Technnically you can but you shouldn't want too they are setup for a saloon not an estate body so will handle strange. Get correct ones for your model and change any bushes that maybe worn out too.
