I want to insure a 325i 1988 vintage so I can drive too and from the track (about 5k max per year). Can anyone reccomend a company for this and would a 1988 325i qualify for the cheaper classic car insurance. Rang adrian flux and the daft bint obviously did not understand what I was after and just quoted me on a standard policy

I use R. H. for my classic car insurance. They have also given me a reasonable quote for my 1988 325i for everyday use. Most companies will expect you to have another car for everyday use and some might even give you a bit of a discount if you insure both with them. Some companies might say the E30 is too new for their classic policies but keep trying, others will accept it.

Hi Cat7, you should try H.I.C on 01279 506090 , Classic policy cost me Ԛ£360 , Ԛ£90 deposit and 10 x Ԛ£30 , you dont use any no claims and the policy covers you on the track too !
Oh , my motor is the same model and year as yours , good luck !
