I'm sure there is an article in the wiki about LSD ratios, have a look there.

For racing purposes probably stick with the 4.1, rare to find. Maybe even look for a 4.44 but they are very rare (though you could have one built I guess).

Appletree used a 3.91 in his which is quite similar to the 4.1 but a lot easier and cheaper to find.

There's some info on the Wiki page: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/inde ... fferential

Either way I'd budget for a freshen up ala Kevo or similar.

I presume you're aware of the basics - higher number == shorted gearing (quicker accel, more gear changes) lower number == longer gearing (slower accel, longer time spent in one gear)

Thats possibly the rarer 3,73 Pete being an Auto. There is only one way to find out for sure though... check the tag and if being anal count the revolutions of the wheels per turn of the prop.

According to the Wiki: 3.73 - automatic transmission 325i

Well when the for sale section re-opens I'll be after one

Both pages are relevant in this case.

Probably that log needs a little tidying up and cross-linking.

Did you get the whiskey yet?
