Joined the forum a few days ago, and hopefully picking up an e30 325i on thursday. I've currently got a scooby (and live in scoobynet ;)), but using it on track is getting very costly as it eats brakes and tyres, so between myself and a mate we are building a 325 track car.
Planning on stripping it out, fitting a full cage, replacing bushes with powerflex ones, lowering spring are already fitted, but coilovers may be added, uprated roll bars, brake upgrade if necessary, some good rubber and exhaust system.
I'm searching about on here for as much info as possible, but hints on what else we need to do/look out for would be usefull. What specific areas of the car should we inspect for problems when we pick the car up?

welcome mate, good choice
. there was a buying guide put up on here by placey which is very good. im sure someone will put it up in a bit. rust is a real killer on e30's. especially on sports, as you can not see under the kit. the jacking points have a bad habit of rusting.
