When the camera is inside the car and he gives it beans the clock seems to go right round to 160?? at a furious rate but the trees etc outside dont seem to be moving that fast.

It's a strange M20 with a fking huge HX55 running 1.4bar and pushing 602bhp

It was built for a customer and this is the test video, was a very very well planned/setup, I think I can remember the bottom end setup too, stock parts used.

Worth another watch tho, awesome power!

I dare say Karel's 2.7 turbo is faster than that. There have been a few 1000bhp+ M20s too IIRC.

thats robbz old car, now sports a 3.5 turbo, i was an m20b25 motor using the mighty m42 pistons, using 2.2 bar.

Ya would of thought it had been posted before. Goes to show how strong the M20 can be. When I put a RB25 into a 200sx it was abit like that. Not as crazy though.

Yeah I noticed that too. All is not as it seems I think. It still looks rather quick but I don't trust the accuracy of the speedo.

It looks like its goin a bit sideways round the bend when it's goin like the clappers which is also pretty cool.

Impressive turbo too.

ive been in a genuine 600 + bhp cosworth that achieved 190 mph at brunters and that doesnt wheelspin to 160 mph. as said the e30 is fast and has loads of power but something is a miss. the wheels are not spinning at 160 + mph no way imo.

If you watch the speedo you can see as its spinning it shoots up, then as he changes gear it goes down abit. so tats whats amiss. and look at the old tyres he has on they aint slicks...
