Right i need some help with my motor.

Everything was fine when i bought it and temps were fine.

Changed cam belt, water pump and the tensioner, bolted it all back together and now she will not bleed the coolant up.

I have tried everything, bleedin up with matrix hose off, used the bleed screw to bleed it done everything...

All i can say is at the weekend i finally got the interior heater blowing warm and the temp was stable at just under half on the gauge, run it round the corner under hardly any throttle and was still fine The minute i put it under any load the temp just rocketed round and ended up in the red.............

I only have a couple of hours to work on it at the weekend and to be honest im getting fed up with it ........

Any help would be very gratefully recived..................
Cheers

sorry to say the old ones but have you run the engine with the 'radiator' cap off? (are you 4-pot or 6-pot; obviously the 6-pot has the expansion tank but it should still work)

If you don't pressurise the system, the air should get out by itself???

Its a 6 -pot 325is. I have run it with the cap of the expansion tank, Tried it with stat in and out to eliminate the stat as a problem and still to no avail.

I wouldnt run it on the road with the stat out.........

Im tempted to lift the head off and have it pressure checked. Cant think what else would make the temp rise so quickly....

Just want the fookin think sorted.
