Hi guys newbie here just wanted to say howdie.

Just got myself a 320 yesterday, which over the next year will be converted to a racer for the Miltek chanllenge- yep you've guessed it another SELOCer invading :D

Its no quite as I'd expected the one I'd buy would be like, I got it from Dagenham, and at the moment its a real dealers mobile. Which put me off at first but the guy selling it was a bm nut and had 3 (this one and 2 E36's). After a good look and drive it proved to be a very well looked after pride and joy of this guy.

Its a 1988, with a mass of extras and bolt on bits (great to sell!)
Its got 94k on the clock with all old MOTs to back this up

So will be tapping into all your knowledge on whats what in the Bimmer scene.

Also there will be a large amount of decent parts that i'll be sticking up for sale as they come out of the car- got quite a few nice little extras on there:
M-TEC BODY KIT (FIBERGLASS)
GENUINE M-TEC SPOILER
IMMACULATE RECARO INTERIOR
REAR SUNBLIND PARCEL SHELF
M-TEC STEERING WHEEL
M-TEC GEARNOB
M-TEC HANDBRAKE
PIONEER FACE OFF CD PLAYER

I now have the harsh reality of how much work is going to be involved, firstly de pimping it, then getting it ready to race!! Infact I'm bricking it a bit now.

Cant wait to get started though, and then start racing next year- if I finish in time.

Wish it was saturday today so I could get going on it!

Thanks guys

Didn't make it LeMans but sounds like a lot of fun/mischief was had by all.

Is there any details on the lakeside meet?? still trying to find my way round on here.

How can I add pics? can I attach them or do I have to host them first?

Sorry for the usual newbie questions that get shot down but what the hey

Looks good mate!!! should turn into a nice racer!!!

plenty of tuning ideas for the m20 2.0 (m20b20  )

at least none of the sport guys can go "put a 2.5 in it" as the SELOC is restricted

as it's post facelift, drop a line to ant@e30zone.co.uk and get a chip made for it- best Ԛ£55 you'll spend on it!

next a Big Bore Throttle Body would do the trick (either a 'zone one Ԛ£120 exchange) or fit a 325 one (need to bore out the manifold to fit)

I'm limited in the Miltek class- no engine mods allowed, just have to get it running as crisp as possible all on standard spec- any pointers welcome
