Why? You think that a LHD car is impossible to drive in the UK? You think people who have commuted 12K a year in a LHD are in some way different?

Anyway i hate lists like these. You aint never going to achieve it so why waste time thinking how you're going to spend this Lotto win

Not with that attitude! I already got one car from the list and none of the rest are over £50,000. Im not planning on owning all 5 at the same time, but own one of each at some point - life is short, too short for cars built by mindless drones for mindless drones.

No i dont but i live in Jersey our roads are small and windy with old codgers driving at 15 mph (and thats isnt a joke) and having a LHD would make it a PITA to overtake. Plus i simply prefer RHD, when i do get an E30 M3 i will be converting it to RHD if it hasnt already been done without even blinking an eyelid.

If they are that slow and windy, surely its unsafe to overtake? I have to admit ive never really had a problem looking out of the windscreen when driving. Makes it less of a PITA

I guess the you Frenchies must be different. Webbed feet perhaps.

Didnt the Norton guy design the bike by using lolipop sticks glued together? Ether way he built it in his garage, so no reason why you cant do the same at some point, if you really want it that is!

Edit: Nope thats not Norton! Some other guy, he built a superbike in his garage which outclassed all the racing team bikes on track, but the bike broke down before he could finish the race. Who was it?

French yeah i dont think so mate, none of my family are french there all from either scotland or england. and Jersey has nothing to do with france. Dont try to be a smart arse. my mate has a LHD E30 M3, ive driven it and its hard to drive over here hence why it sits in his garage and comes out once in a blue moon. for daily usage RHD is a must over here IMO.

Hmm. Quoteing not working...?

Rich_W ... You have to learn to overtake OAPs and Hire Cars on stupid roads and corners, blind bends, you name it. Its very different to drive here than it is in england. Maybe i'll record a little county drive so poeple can understand our hatred of foreign drivers, and OAPs who drive at 15 in 30/40mph zones.

Oh and MikeKean, another Jersey boy? you aint the mike who works in Operations in the other building from me are you?

Zimmer-320i - T1s cool ye, but the Veyron is a technological advancement on what a car is capable of. The T1 would be near impossible to drive on the road, becuase you need stupid downforce from speed to give it grip. I chose the Ultima GTR 720 for that... road legal track car that SMASHES all super and hypercars and world record holder of 0-100-0mph which it did in 9.8 secs! And its yours for as little as £18,500 (ex. VAT, inc. Porshe gearbox) and dump all sorts of chevvy engines into it that range from $4,000 to near £40,000. Awesome machine, look it up.

Some interesting choices guys!

1. My luxor 4dr 320i, with added goodies, z3 rack and gearshift etc
2. Van Diemen RF90 FF1600, minty mint and on the weight limit.
3. Lotus Elan/Europa/Elite, whichever I could get my grubbys on.
4. A chocolate brown Jensen Interceptor.
5. Early seventies steel bumper 911S, ideally in blue or black.

And I'd want them in a heated garage with a lift and/or a pit, stocked to the gills with snap on tools, perhaps with an adjoining library full of literature related to the cars, and its own bog and kitchen. Bliss.
