The E30zone needs YOU!
Image

As the zone continues to grow and the new forum is reaching it's final design stages, The team would like to offer a unique opportunity for people to get more involved.

For the new forum we are planning on having sections within the meets & events section for different areas. We are hoping this will promote more meets in the quieter parts of the country and an easier way for new members to find the meets local to them.

To assist us with this we are looking for official regional meet organisers, This is where you lot step in.

The lucky (? :D) applicants will have moderating powers over their own area of the forum.

The areas we are looking to cover are marked in this picture below
Image

And the things we would like to see:
  • Member for a minimum of a year
    Active member of the forum
    Good organisational skills
Must be a people person willing go give up time to organise monthly meets and help with larger national meets when the need arises.
Sooooooo, Anyone who wishes to be considered needs to email me at d6dph@e30zone.net and please include the region you would like to cover. The applicants will be vetted and a care worker will be sent to assess the safety of the zone in your care :D (or it could just be put to a vote in the private section, but that doesn't sound as good)

Good luck :D

Brizzle is wicked bruv.

I fear the map was used due to considerations over drawing a map rather than consideration to driving distances.

Since Bournemouth/Poole zoners allready meet up with the pompey scummers reguarly purely down to ease, realistically south west meets are too far for me, its quicker to drive to London! Yet I'm south west.

So having 1 meet master particuarly in the south east and west areas, isn't imo a good idea. Far too great a distance to cover.

Where was the map lifted from?

That's just a piddly wee area Gareth

Try comparing that to Scotland

Granted, we don't have large turnouts.
What we lack in quantity, we do make up for with quality though.

March I'm sure there is nothing saying you can't be a slag and attend meets in both areas, just that you and me for that matter are not ideal for what the zone wants. Perfect :D I hate organising.

I'll go for North East, Yorks and Humber. Can amusingly make H.Y.N.E. out of it, and that puts my address square in the centre of both regions combined rather than on the border, so everyone comes to me for meets. = WIN!

More seriously, the Team already know I'm up for whatever help I can give. Taking care of a region might be a bit OTT, but it can't be that difficult! :P

Seriously thinking about the HYNE Zone now though, wanna go sharesies, Lee?
...or is it?

Should be! But commuting atm as I am being picky about where I want to live. Want the high life in Clifton :) but will probably settle on Redlands as parking is slightly better and the houses are still good. 65 miles one way on crap(non direct) roads is a chore.

The map was just one we found online. If needs be we can split down a little further but one of you potatoshop types would need to run up a better map :D

Omi, You have blown your chances mate, If you can't even follow a simple task like "email me if you're interested" what chance do we stand

In all seriousness, can everyone that is interested please email me rather than just post here. It allows me to keep track of things more easily. Ta :)

This map shows population density and therefore will give a decent idea where the regions might benefit from being changed if required.

Any other good working examples we can simply steal? - UKCC? PH? Erm...
...or is it?
