cheers mate that's a real help i might just try the additives , and see what happens , the zone makes owning one of these cars very easy to maintain , and people like yourself are allways very helpfull many thanks!!E30BeemerLad wrote:I think for general cleaning, u are just going to have a choice of additives to put in your tank, such as redex etc. Couldn't say if one brand works better than another though
If that doesn't cure the problem, you may need to take them to a bosch agent who will have a machine they put them on and it does the job, but probably looking at Ԛ£30- Ԛ£50 for the bosch agent to do that, assuming they then don't also recommend you replace half of them!
Someone may have a different view however, but that's my opinion.

thank's mate much appreceiated!!E30BeemerLad wrote:PS - if you're gonna get your injectors cleaned, it is worth getting the fuel filter changed beforehand, othewise you risk clogging them up with crap if you don't. Particularly if the fuel filter has been on a while and if you are frequently running on vapours like me!

cheers mate i might just try the old redex thanks!!redrobbie wrote:Redex worked great for me old escort. Ive been suggested using thinners for cleaning the e30 injectors if you take them out but im not an expert on that. Maybe others on the zone may have done!
