He had it up for sale at Gaydon an' all and I think he wanted 6k for it then. I was shocked when i saw it advertised later at almost half. He must be desperate.

I really like the look of this touring,I was hoping to see it at the Pod,but he was driving in as I was driving out.
Apart from that RV mirror.
Brown looks right on the 30

Oh nothing that bad, but when i was looking around it quickly, i noticed some damage on the bumper, which seemed like it was touched up by feltip or something, plus few little bumps and stuff, plus some other little damage.
But if the guy want 3k for his car, i would expect it to be quite mint, which its not, if he sold it with the wheels then i may pay somewhere in the mid 2k's.

It's been Birmingham'd innit. May as well be made of chocolate now...
Dips, what exhaust did you fit to that touring? Don't suppose you ever drove it over bumps? I ask as mine is only lowered 60mm and mine will catch unless i go really really slowly over bumps.

you know what aceraf, thats exactyl what i was thinking when i saw it at santapod, the car is droppped. was wondering how that would be like to drive it.
Was wondering if it was designed solely as a show car, or whether it can actually be used on 'UK' roads, most of which are potholed and covered in speed bumps in my area.
That had 100mm drop or something like that, didn't it?

Damn, I was hoping that you'd managed to get it up higher and give some ground clearance for the exhaust somehow...oh well looks like i'll keep going the long way round everywhere I go to avoid the bumps.dips346 wrote:its a powerflow item and no its not too road friendlyaceraf wrote:Dips, what exhaust did you fit to that touring? On that note however, having been round alum rock (where this car is now homed apparently) I'm not surprised he wants to sell, as the roads are...well...sh*te to be honest. I hate taking my car there, and mine is no where near as low as that thing.

Just wondering, how did you secure the E46 auto shifter? It looks like they have their button thing that you push where the other one has the mounting nut. Did you have to modify it?

Why, surely the main attraction of that car was the rarity of the colour?.dips346 wrote:a guy from another forum wants to buy but then he wants to respray it ??
