My E30 didn't come out with an oil cooler so I bought a genuine E30 oil cooler setup off www.ebay.com (USA site) as well as some US spec exhaust manifolds.

Today I fitted up the oil cooler and also had to cut away the lower part to get airflow. The car looks alot more aggressive now

its unfortunate that I wacked one of those car park concrete barriers that are at the end of the parking spaces 2 weeks ago. Need to straighten it up a bit, shouldnt be too hard though. Glad the oil cooler wasnt fitted at that time!

yep, blasted it with some compressed air and engine cleaner. Then hooked it up, ran the car for 5 mins and then did an oil change

Not leaking 1 drop :D

schmick325,

I'd be very interested to know if it does actually lower your oil temp as most 325i's over here had them fitted but in our climate it's not really worth having.

I wonder if it does actually do what it's supposed too and you've got the right weather to find out.

Hope it works for you.

Cheers,

Mark.

There's no way of telling unless you've actually got an oil temp guage in your car!!
