will 225/45/17 tyres fit on the back with ease??

tyre size, 225 will they fit on back.. lowered qprx 40mm...

also will 215/45 fit without rubbing on front??

i have 225/45/16 on the back of mine which is lowered 35mm and its fine

check the offset on your wheels before shelling out... i get rear scrubbing with ET20 wheels (alpina reps) and 225/45/17's, lowered 40mm ish (guess). i reckon something around ET25 to ET30 would clear with no problems.

i have 225/45 16 on mine as well and no rubbing
not sure how low mine is but i got 40mm springs from a saloon on a touring so its lower

well mr longhauldrivingfather , my bmw 3 series shape, known as the early E30 has what one would know as a 2.5pint engine a little letter i after along with an s and an e... bought an mtec kit from autotint design, which was sh t i may add, ..rethinkin now an egg carton would of gone on with less hassle , sorry needed to let of steam.... 5 spokey thingy rims....lowered by not alot.. not done much really as its been off za road... gettin my shoppin list ready though..hee hee can't wait
