can anyone tell me the differences between these engines and i presume the m44 is still a twin cam?i know its the e36 equivalent,however,just wondering the specific differences.thanks

m44 1.9 not as prefered as its not as revvy as the m42

m42 1.8 most people prefer them over the 1.9 m44's

the m44 is only found in e36

m42 was in e30 318is's and early e36 318is's
