E 30 Colour code

Hi

its my 1st post so please be patiant

Does anybody know where i can find the colour code on my 318iS?
if it helps its a 1990 in what i think is called Briliant Red.

Also i think my outside temp sensor is kapur as its showing -22 deg even i know its not that cold, good job its not a rain sesor or it would be over worked with this summer
dont know if this is a common problem or not?
does any body know where it is?
Any help would be much appreciated

hello and welcome

paint colour and code is on the near side front suspention turret under the bonnet.

temp sensor is in the front bumper some where i believe. Never had one myself but I've got a front splitter with space for one so have a look.

Found the colour code
Will look for the temp sensor as soon as it stops raining
