picking up my cabbie tommorow and trying to sort out insurance for it.

it will be a second car with limited mileage, struggling to find an online company that will quote me..most seem to be quoting as a main driver

or is it better to ring around?

ring around mate, price comparison sites are OK for straight forward sitiuations but not like this

try Herts Insurance Consultants

Assuming you're over 21 you should be able to get that on a classic policy with limited mileage, classic policies do not earn you NCD and they will take into account your history/ claims record with your main policy, so any discount is at their discretion, but if you're a good boy and a low risk you shouldn't need a pot of vaseline to ease the pain

you're an insurer's wet dream then. You shouldn't be paying over £200-£250 to insure that

give lancaster a try, they came out pretty cheap for me, social and domestic only, under 5k miles per year, agreed value.

thx all

i did have a look at the classi car insurance sticky but was being lazy and wanted online quotes..

as it happens beemerboy was right and ringing around gained quotes from 460! eventually to a quote for 125 which was better..limited mileage and agreed value thru adrian flux..

jobs a good un..

thx again all
