Apparently the Savage Tint Spray (as used in the guide) is the best, will set you back about a tenner I think.

Hey guys.

This is what i bought.

Although it does work, special care needs to be taken when removing your masking tape.

I used the whole can on the two indicator bits, and a total of about 20ish coats.

so would your advice be to get a 2nd set of clusters and do it rather than trying to get it done in a day?

Going to have to polish them after the paint dries properly.

Okay guys.

I decided to re-wire my lights so that the reverse lights act as the indicators (with amber bulbs in), because after painting the lights, they are TOO red.

Are the normal (now red) indicators too red even with amber bulbs?

If so how did you do the reverse light/indicator swap?

I didn't notice that much, until it was git dark.
amber bulbs in the indicators doesn't work too well.

to get the reverse lights as indicators, replace the bulbs with amber ones
then remove the plug and unclip the back.

The wires which go to these pins are for the indicator and reverse lights.(reversed on the other side)

unclip the long blue/black wire (you will see which one when the plug is open) and plug it into the other hole. leave the shorter wire disconnected.

If this description is crap, Im sorry. I NEED sleep. I will try to go into more detail later. Im like the walking dead at the mo!
