has anyone had to buy a fuel pump recently? ive been quoted £125 thats not fitted!! from euro car parts, been quoted £40 for a second hand one from a fellow zoner, but ide rather buy new and that sounds a little dear to me!!!

Thats the correct price from ECP.
A 2nd hand one will go for years, but get one that doesn't buzz.
Also make sure the seller tests the pump before posting it, because they go rusty inside if left for a while.

you can get good uprated fuel pumps off ebay for 50 to 60 quid

the e30 pump is exactly the same as other cars, nissan 200, escort cosworth etc and uprated versions for these cars can be had for under £100 for a walbro 255 iirc. exactly the same mount, wiring etc .its just the cradle thats e30 specific.

arr right thanks for that fuzzy, just looked for walbro 255 on ebay and i can get it for about £65,
didnt realise so many vehicles used the same size pump!!!
