ROAD TRIP

Hi people.

My names shawn, i live on the isle of wight and drive an E46.
I'm organising a road trip round europe.
Leaving on the 16th sep 05,
* 3 nights at the nurburgring (sat+sun at the track)
* 1 night in prague
* 1 night in munich
* 1 night in milan
* 2 nights in monaco

Costs = All in Ԛ£550 - Ԛ£700 per person. (ferry, petrol, hotels, food/drink - everything!!!) depending on how you drive/engine size ect.

About 7 cars going so far.

Depends on money though, and if I can get lots of mates to drive to etc etc

I think the money spent will depend more on the amount of beer you drink rather than engine size!

well ok depends how many laps you do and how much fuel you use

ferry - Ԛ£60 if you stay longer than 5 days its got to cost more than this i guess.
stay - Ԛ£100 3nights
getting there Ԛ£120- 3 tanks of fuel
lapping only 12 laps - Ԛ£110
fuel for them laps - Ԛ£80
food Ԛ£45 for 3 nights
drink ?Ԛ£?
pads ,service , tires , oversea driving stuff u might not of had b4
and other food and drink getting there
oh and the sticker Ԛ£8

and thats a normal trip!


i did 35 laps of fuel
and i bought a Ԛ£500 year lap pass and i serviced shed loads on my car and eat loads and go-karted and god knows wat else
i also did a 4 nighter


your trip would be about 550 on a guess

Looks like a got some interest already!!! the prices i quoted are realistic!
Ԛ£550/Ԛ£700 per car, based on 2 people in the car.
* Ferry Ԛ£50 return car+2 (speedferries)
* Nurburgring: 3 nights Ԛ£60/Ԛ£80 per person!!! inclusive.
* Prague, munich, milan, about Ԛ£35-70 per night based on 2 sharing.
* Monaco, Ԛ£110 for 3 people for 2 nights!!! (2km from monaco harbour)
* Petrol Ԛ£250-Ԛ£550 (depending on engine/how you drive ect)

* Food/drink?????? laps at the 'ring' Ԛ£10 for 1, Ԛ£55 for 6, Ԛ£105 for 12.
trying to arrange passenger laps as well!!! get a feel for the circuit before driving it yourself!

Forgot to add i REALLY REALLY want some E30's on this trip!!!
Just think at the start of the week your at the nurburgring, at the end your cruising monaco (driving the race track on the city streets at 2am!!! i've done this and waht a rush!!!)
