Been looking at the 'BBS' 15" wheels on my new E30....
Although not specifically sold as BBS, I assumed (ass of u and me, I know, I know) that they would be BBS.
But.
The dont have BBS or BMW cast into the centre 'dish', and the caps which were supplied dont have any markings on them either...
The casting says TSW, and its in a very similar / same style as the TSW that currently make wheels. And have 7 x 15 cast too.
Can anyone shed any light?
Are they 'copies'? And are there any known problems with them if they are? Are they much heavier than the BBS'?

assume - ASS U ME thus the saying- dont assume things as it makes an ASS out of you (U) and me (ME)ass of u mean
most alloy wheels are cast in the same place anyway then only sent to the wheel ''manufacturer'' for final finishing
I know cause most modern BM and Merc and some BBS alloys are rough cast here in Bahrain (where the plentiful supply of molten alouminium makes it more economical)
so this stigma of different makes of wheel being different quality is a load of BS - yes i do agree that different manufacturers may spend more time designing the wheel before its sent to casting and some may require more metal and thus may be stronger but generally they are all from the same place. TSW - BBS etc etc will be basically the same stuff.

Wayne - I wasnt having a dig at you, I should have checked them thats all. BTW, Im getting your pics emailed today so should have them up over the weekend.
mrLEE - Thanks for that. I have some faith in TSW wheels, if they had 'Made in China' cast into them I'd have been a lot more concerned!
