Well I guess he's got nothing to gain by accepting liability, I wouldn't be too concerned about it; the insurance company will take one look at it and work out he's at fault.

That really sucks

having had a car written off in a similar way (on a dual carriageway) I know just how angry it makes you. I can still feel the whiplash 3 months later so get your claim in for some decent physio asap.

Remarkably little damage for a 30mph impact. Was the chassis/boot floor bent? Just that from the photos, it looks like a relatively easy car to repair.

No, just the back panel. but it'll cost me more 2 repair it than, 1. i paid for the car. 2. what the car is worth.

He'll still struggle with that one as the impact is "square" in the rear, if you were overtaking and then veering into his lane whilst slamming on then the damage would be concentrated to the near side rear.
Have you any witnesses?

An M reg fiat punto, and claiming his paint job was worth more than my old peice of s**t. LOL! Had the engineers report back, i should be getting £650 for the car. The personal injury, well they wont give me a valuation til i've had 8 sessions of physio (for the whiplash) and 8 sessions of counselling (for the stress and trauma).

He's claiming to have an independent witness, which is lies!
I now have an independent witness (who was a passenger in the car behind the tw*t who drove into me) just waiting for the forms to be sent out for them to complete.
