i done this with my old ford badges and it just occurred to me that the gearknob top was the same set up
i rubbed all the black off the back of it then painted it blue. the digits are a bit messed up due to a previous illumination project, but it was pants
if anyones really that interested i'll get batteries for the good camera and take a pic
