That makes 2 of us. I was just a spectator worrying and annoying everyone. Infact it got so bad that they'd tell me they were going to be working on the car one day. I'd get there and they would have worked on it the day before. They had to take those drastic measures just to keep me away and stop me annoying everyone

You should try keeping it clean. I have to wear gloves to drive even in 100 degree tempratures just to kee my streering wheel from getting dirty. I also have to clean the seats everytime someone sits on them just to keep them from getting stained

It's a bloody fulltime job in itself

My mate that trimmed the interior gave me some Connelly leather cleaner, plus the leather food and it's brilliant. I also have some of the Glipetone stuff. Occasionally, i use some liquid vanish in water to wipe the seats then use the leather food after.
As for the moist bit, my missus sniffs the seats everytime i come home and any unidentified smells spells serious trouble

What's the best stuff to keep it supple as i've just reconnolised my own. Apart from regular cleaning i need to keep it supple to avoid it ever drying out again and cracking after all the hard work i put in.
Cheers,
Andy

You need some good leather food mate. Everytime you clean it, you take away some of the natrual moisture in the leather, so you have to replace them otherwise it wont be long before they start cracking again. Let me know if you're interested in the Connelly kit and i will give you my mates number to call and order some. You get a bottle of cleanning fluid (Soap effectivly) and 2 tubs of the leather food. After using your leather smells and look new. Top stuff mate. That Gliptone is very good too.
