Hi there

Have just bought a 1989 E30 318i 2 door coupe auto in Adelaide South Australia - haven't taken delivery yet, but wondered if this model has an engine immobiliser

Not fitted as standard as far as I am aware.

G'day to you both!! As far as I know it did not have an engine immobiliser as standard.

you might be lucky, my 1990 touring had a dealer fitted bmw alarm / immobiliser, and it still works! :D

Like the others said, immobiliser not standard fit.

Where about in Adelaide? When I was there last year i saw a few tasty E30's about. :cool:
